A Small Town Girl & Lent

I’m excited to shake things up a bit. I have never written a blog, but I have written Lenten emails to my friends and some family. So, to get in the groove with doing this blog, I've decided to combine the two!
Each week, I’ll share a reflection tied to spring’s renewal, faith, and leadership—but with a fresh twist. I’ll be looking back on my days as a small-town entrepreneur more in a story form. Benson & Kanewas the name, and I will share more about it next time. The Lent emails will incorporate a leadership lesson I've learned along the way, too. Instead of stand-alone posts, this will unfold like an ongoing story throughout Lent.
I’ve been exploring a new social media project centered on small towns and their distinct charm. Somehow, this all weaves together, and I’ll be posting about it until Easter. It’s exciting… and, honestly, a way outside my comfort zone! To me, that is what Lent can push us to do. Perhaps give up something other than the standard thing we do every season. When we do something unusual, it forces us to be interrupted, and that can lead to great things all around.
If you’re interested in following along on the social media side, just let me know—I’d be happy to share. I am on YouTube under @smalltownconnections
My hope is this finds you well! Let's make it a great Lenten season.
I am looking forward to sharing this journey with you!
